‘The Museum is Everywhere’! The new application of the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, otherwise known as ‘MuseumOnTheGO’, is already in operation offering an alternative way of a digital tour of the Museum and the entire city.
The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki is one of the largest museums in the country and the central museum of Northern Greece. With unique collections of ancient objects and rich activity and extroversion.
Its new application, which is available in the digital stores (App Store and Google Play Store), works multilingually in 12 languages and provides a complete tour to every visitor, from every corner of the world!
Through 250 objects and 400 charming stories, which users can enjoy in 12 languages, our app travels through time and unfolds the unseen side of ancient Thessaloniki and Central Macedonia.
The recordings of all languages were made in our studios, with our global network of announcer partners, in collaboration with Arx.Net who implemented the entire application, and also with Hypertech.
